Life is moving along just as you planned. Life is good. You are happy. In general, the expectations that you have for life are uninterrupted.
Suddenly, everything that you held true is questioned. Plans are put on hold or stopped. Whether it is in the death of a loved one, health issues, or something else, you find yourself somewhere that you never dreamed you would be. Life is filled with interrupted expectations - those circumstances that you didn't see coming.
This blog is dedicated to those who are hurting and those who desire to help the hurting.
"He comes alongside us when
we go through hard times,
and before you know it, He brings us
alongside someone else who is going
through hard times so that
we can be there for that person just
as God was there for us."
- 2 Corinthians 1 (The Message)
My Interrupted Expectations
In five years, I experienced the sudden death of my lively sister, Uncle, Grandpa, and Grandma. My husband and I miscarried but later gave birth to a beautiful boy, born with major health issues.
This website is dedicated to my sister who went to be with Jesus in 2000. Squirt, we miss you. Your death will not be in vain. May God use our pain for His gain.
